FAQ
HOW DOES PERMANENT JEWELRY WORK?
-You will hand pick your desired chain and any charms you would like to add.
-We will work with you to expertly measure the perfect fit.
-We'll place the chain on you, connect the ends of the chain using a link known as a jump ring and then weld that ring shut using a micro-welder. The micro welder produces a small spark and you can watch the process through protective glasses.
IS IT PAINFUL?
No! We weld metal-on-metal and put a protective barrier on your skin to make sure no sparks come in contact with you.
Pain-free, clasp-free, hassle-free.
WHAT TYPES OF JEWELRY DO YOU OFFER?
We currently offer bracelets, anklets, and necklaces.
Each of those items is available in Sterling Silver, Gold Filled, and 14K Solid Gold.
CAN KIDS GET PERMANENT JEWELRY?
In accordance with federal guidelines, we will not weld permanent jewelry on anyone under the age of 13.
13-17 year olds may get permanent jewelry with a parent/guardian waiver signature.
CAN I WEAR MY JEWELRY THROUGH TSA?
Yes!
WHAT IF I NEED TO REMOVE MY JEWELRY?
No problem. Simply use scissors or nail clippers to cut your jewelry if you need to remove it. You can also save your piece and return for a re-weld if you decide you want it back on at a later date.
WHAT IF IT BREAKS?
We stand by our craftsmanship and offer complementary 5 year re-weld warranties for any pieces that break at the weld site if you bring in your original piece.
We currently operate on an event-only basis, so if you have a valid warranty claim and can't make it to any upcoming events, you can bring your piece to another artist and submit your re-weld fee receipt for reimbursement. Please note that this only applies to re-welds of our original piece, not entirely new items. To initiate a warranty claim, contact us here.
Please keep in mind that no jewelry is indestructible, if your piece breaks at a point other than the weld site we are happy to repair it for a $15 weld fee; if you happen to break and lose your piece, you're eligible for a 20% discount on your next piece.
